Rubiest Fleur - glass on canvas

Part of our superbly received molten glass on canvas range, this is a uniquely special contemporary original work. 

The process of creating this set takes around ten days to fully complete.  First, we design, build and create a large molten glass flower in rich red and metallic gold - taking care to fire in our glass studio to achieve exactly the right temperature to create the molten ice effect you see here.  We then cool very slowly.  Over a tall chunky canvas, we then build a base of rich ruby red.  Then move on to define your stylised stem with molten-like metallic shining gold in raised 3d effect.  After all that, we then repeat each step twice again to create a set of three.  Bringing them all together to create this striking triptych.

This artwork is created on stretched, chunky, double primed canvas with staple/pin free sides and comes to you ready to hang.  Signed by the artist in our UK studio, it will be sent to you with Certificate of Authenticity and value for insurance purposes.
