What size of canvas can I choose?

Well certainly some of the art we offer from our artists can be adapted in size.  So, dependent upon the piece you choose, the world could be pretty much your oyster here!  Just ask and we'll check with the individual artist for you.

Our suggestion on making the right size choice here is that your art should be in proportion to the wall it will occupy.  Too large and it will dominate too much, too small and it will look lonely and lost.  Central to the empty wall space is ideal, with the centre of the piece being slightly above eye level.

As a rule (but remember that sometimes rules are great when they’re broken!) is that landscape style paintings look superb over features (sofas, beds, fireplaces etc) and portrait style works are fantastic for narrower spaces (hallways, between windows and doors, alcoves, landings etc).

Remembering also that you don’t need to have just one canvas – co-ordinated sets of two, three, four and so on look stunning hung together spaced as a set – giving unbeatable impact.

If in doubt, call or email us and we’re always delighted to help.

I like the style of the art in your gallery and would like to commission a piece - will I be able speak with the artist who will create it for me?

Where possible, and they're in agreement, yes of course!  Artists are always busy, but are more than happy to help to ensure you are 100% delighted with your final art piece.

How much will a commission cost?

Really does depend on the size and work involved.  Call us and we’ll be pleased to liaise with the artist in question without obligation.  As a rule, commissions are often less expensive than you would think.

How do I pay?

If you're a non-business customer, you can choose to pay either by cheque, conveniently with your credit card or through Paypal - easy and uncomplicated!  Just click to order and the system safely processes everything for you.  Or just contact us by telephone us on 01772 435213 or email us and we’ll be happy to take your order by telephone.

How much is delivery?

Delivery for non-business customers in mainland UK is £15 for professionally box packaged, insured courier deliveries. And thinking of ordering multiple items for delivery to the same mainland UK address?  Well, order away as you pay for p&p only once!

Outwith mainland UK, it depends very much on your location. Email or telephone us on 01772 435213 and we will be delighted to quote for you.

For business customers, different terms apply.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we are happy to quote for shipping within and outwith the EU upon enquiry.  Though please note that non EU orders are often subject to the addition of import duties, taxes, customs costs etc.

Do your online gallery prices include vat?

Buy online from us and the price you see is the price you pay plus postage & packing (see 'How much is delivery?' above) – there are no hidden charges on top.  Though please remember that non EU orders are often subject to the addition of import duties, taxes, customs costs etc.

I have commissioned an art piece with you, but have changed my mind about the colour or size, can I change it?

If the artist hasn't started your piece, of course you can!  If it has been started already, we’ll have to investigate further and come back to you.  But do note that if they have already commenced work on your art, we will of course need to charge you for the work already completed.

When will I receive my order?

Well, for immediately available collection pieces, you can receive them 24-48 hours after your payment has cleared if you’re in mainland UK and they're in stock.  We'll confirm delivery details with you upon order receipt.  Overseas will obviously take longer.

The timescale for pieces created to order and not in stock very much depends on the size and work involved for the artist; with a good estimate being 14 days, but we’ll let you know when you place your order.

How does the money back guarantee on gallery pieces ordered online work?

We are very proud of our reputation with our customers. However to further reassure you, in the unlikely event that you would wish to return your painting, we will happily offer a refund on the price you paid (excl. shipping costs) if returned in perfect condition in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt (buyer pays return shipping costs).

Please note that this return guarantee is not applicable to business customers.  Neither is it applicable to specially adapted/commissioned or non-standard size pieces which, by their very nature, are absolutely bespoke to the special requirements of each individual ordering customer.
